THREE DOT SIZES WITH VARIED NUMBER OF DOTS PER PAGE: The dots for the coloring book comes in 3 sizes. For the beginners, the initial ten plus pages offer easier large dots to color and also these pages have less dots. As the pages progress two further dot sizes are introduced with more dots to color per page. Hopefully, this mix of dot sizes and dot numbers per page add to the adventure and the endless fun of dot marker coloring.

Please note that the paper thickness will stop bleed from most dot makers. However, for some very strong ink markers the ink might bleed through. For such markers, we suggest that your kid start on the alphabet practice page and finish with the coloring on that page.

ORDERED, SYMMETRICAL PATTERNS VS RANDOM DOTS: Our educational advisors have suggested that our dot marker book have ordered, symmetrical patterns. This is because patterns help toddlers and pre-schoolers to make predictions when they begin to understand what comes next. Just using these simple ordered dot maker patterns can help them learn how to make logical connections and use their reasoning skills.

Most books of this nature have been created with random dots to fill an image. We at Pearmont Publishing, have tried not only to try to get the kids to color the dots but also have them to identify ordered, symmetrical patterns.

SPOT STICKERS CAN BE USED AS AN ALTERNATIVE: Instead of using the dot marker pens, spot stickers can be used to decorate the pages as an alternative. We suggest the 23 mm sticker for the large dot, 18 mm for the medium dot and 14 mm for the small dot. (These sizes are not precise as the final dot will vary slightly during the printing process.)

INSIDE MARGIN LINE FOR CUTTING OUT EACH PAGE: An inside margin trim line has been included for each page so that the page can be cut out and colored separately from the book.

BONUS of 52 PAGES OF FORM, TRACE, PRACTICE ALPHABET: After each image to color, the adjoining side has been designed with an alphabet tracing page.

Here your toddler or pre-schooler will be able to form an alphabet by following the easy-to-follow numbered arrows that show each stroke order and direction to form each alphabet. They can then learn to write each alphabet by tracing on the dots.
