Jenny and Justin have known each other since they enrolled in a training program that would set the course of their lives forever. Late 3037 marks their acceptance into the newest of the Tek clans, their dream come true. They would soon become Teks or die. The story doesn't end there, however.The assimilation into Teks, powerful beings that can switch between human and machine, changes them. Jenny becomes Servolos of the new clan, and Justin becomes Katana of the same new clan. These new beings must learn how to use their powers and grow into their new bodies as they progress through the perilous training program on their new home, the bright world of Outreach, on the edge of the Tek Alliance.As their training finishes, skirmishes begin on the fringes of the border of their of their old home of the Calnisha Commonwealth. Differences between the Calnishans and a new species called the Dracki. The Dracki are determined to drive into the heart of the Commonwealth and the Tek Alliance. Katana has visions of the future involving a great personal sacrifice and he is not the only one. He has a choice to make. One that can lead the Alliance and the Commonwealth into ash and Darkness, or will he make way for Servolos to pave the way to come?
