Shane Conliffe is starting his final year of high school, but academics are the last thing on his mind. Following the events of the summer, including the aftermath of the 2044 presidential debates, his life has been turned upside down. Where there was once motivation to continue in his late father's footsteps, Shane now finds himself drowning in despair over recent events and struggles to find the means to articulate his emotions. This is only one contributor to the unraveling scene within the AURORA organization. He and the others are in too deep to quit now, and have no choice but to face the uncertain reality in front of them. Tragedy soon strikes. The election comes and goes. And now the members of AURORA find themselves charged with preventing any assassination attempts on the newly elected president. This is further complicated by the fact that Trent Bergeron, son of corrupt Winchester police chief Reginald Bergeron, has organized their own answer to AURORA called "The League of Enlightenment". Plans are uncovered that the LoE are involved in a plot to put a hit out on the president in New York City. Shane and those at AURORA are forced to move in careful coordination, in the midst of turmoil and shaky trust between members of the group. Join Shane and the others on this continuing journey of battling through unforeseen setbacks and events to find their way back to solid ground. Will they be able to stop the LoE from succeeding in their mission? Or will AURORA's internal conflict be its own undoing?
